Aviation Aircraft Technology

  • Career and Technology students desiring a career in Aviation Maintenance may be eligible for dual enrollment at Tarrant County College and take classes at the Erma C. Johnson
    Hadley Northwest Center of Excellence for Aviation, Transportation and Logistics (Alliance Airport). They must have a B average and must have completed Algebra I, Algebra II and
    Geometry or have a B average and have passed the placement test (TSI). ÒÀÒÀÉçÇø counselors must approve. Three (3) high school credits for Aircraft Mechanics course and twelve
    (12) college credits may be awarded from TCC. The aviation program is a licensing program; therefore, there is a mandatory attendance rule. ÒÀÒÀÉçÇø will purchase tools and books,
    which will be checked out to students and returned when the students graduate. ÒÀÒÀÉçÇø will pay TCC tuition and fees.
