GT Summer Camps and Scholarships

The Texas Association for the Gifted and Talented offersscholarships to “identified” gifted students. The scholarships are designated for students to attend academic orartistic programs during the summer months. The link below has all the information that you need to apply.  I am also attaching a Power Point (Englishand Spanish Version).

Here are thehighlights of the information:

·        There are no income requirements orrestrictions.

·        The application has four questions that must becompleted.  There are two questions forthe student to answer in his/her own words, one question the parent or guardiananswers, and one question for another adult who will make arecommendation. 

·        Scholarships are awarded based entirely on thequality of the responses to the application questions.

·        A student can receive up to $400 or the amountof the program, he/she wants to attend if less than $400.

·        All applicants will receive notification fromTAGT by April 15.
