    Medical Microbiology

Microbiology ~ The branch of science that deals with microbes and their effects on living things.

Medical Microbiology ~ How do the microbes affect the human body.

In this science course you will be a member of Birdville's Health & Medicine Pathway.  The class is required in college for most science majors.  You will have a head start by learning about microbes, how to grow samples, create slides and stain grown bacteria.  The class matches up with pathophysiology so you understand what microbes do both positively and negatively in the human body.  If you plan to go into health care this class is for you!
